Kids Can Grow With Christy Sports Rental Plan

More screamin' deals are out there for families. Load up the kids and go to any of the three Christy Sports stores in Boulder, Fort Collins, and Flatirons before Oct. 25. The program is called "Gear and Grow." The deal gets you an Eldora Child Season Pass and a Christy Sports Season Ski Rental for $189. It is good for kids ages 6-12, on basic shaped skis.

Upgrades or snowboard packages are available at an additional cost. Now is the time to pick up the rental equipment. You have to have it by Nov. 8 and it must be returned by April 11.

The Gear and Grow program was developed to make skiing and snowboarding more affordable by avoiding the need to purchase new equipment for children as they grow. Dan Fox with Christy Sports says they try to make it a little easier on families to hit the slopes.

"The Eldora Mountain Ski Resort is a short distance from Denver, just west of Boulder and its location allows consumers to avoid the traffic on I-70. With Eldora being known as a family resort, it was ideal for us to partner with them to provide an affordable option for families again this season," Fox said
