Wintergreen Rolls Out Deals On Passes And Tickets

Wintergreen Resort in Virginia recently announced various pass and day ticket deals for the coming winter. Season pass discounts end Dec. 6. The early season cost is $299. After the deadline the price goes up to $319 or $309 if purchased on-line. Student rates are $199 until Dec. 6, then $229 or $219 for on-line buys.

The Family Season Pass also is available for $699 until Dec. 6, then $749 or $719 on-line . It includes individual passes for parents and dependent children. Passes are $179 each for additional family members but only if the Family Season Pass is purchased.

Children 5 and younger ski and ride free with a paying adult.

The 4-Pack Pass is $179 for adults and $139 for students.The 4-Pack option basically pays for itself after three visits compared to purchasing four individual lift tickets. Only one 4-Pack ticket is usable per day.

Single day ticket purchasers will find scheduling time easier with flex-tickets being introduced this winter. Flex tickets will be available in four-, eight-, and 12-hour increments. Time blocks start when the ticket is purchased. Four-hour tickets are not available on Saturdays or holidays except for Jan. 3 and 15 or Feb. 15.  Night skiing and riding is available Tuesdays to Sundays with a few Monday night opportunities during holiday periods.
