Earlier Means Cheaper At Les Rousses

Les Rousses have begun selling its season pass with the idea "The earlier, the cheaper" in mind. The principle is simple: The earlier you purchase a season pass, the less you pay.

An adult season pass purchased at the last minute costs €353 but if bought between Dec. 1 and 18, 2009 the resort lowers the price to €301. By purchasing the pass way ahead of time, say in September, the price falls to €248. The longer you wait, the more the price increases.

These prices are valid on the Pass'Franco-Suisse which gives access to 25 hectares of ski without borders, literally. A Pass'Station also exists, sold under the same principle, from €184 if bought before Sept. 30, 2009.

Cross-country skiing passes are also on sale, with a similar "the earlier, the cheaper" deal. The resort badge (badge station) covers Les Rousses' four villages as well as Bellefontaine, Longchaumois, and French-speaking Switzerland and starts at €57,90 in September and rises to €72,30 by Dec. 18, 2009.

Insurance costs €35 extra per season pass. As for delivery, there are two choices: home delivery or pick up at the Les Rousses tourism office. Then, on to devouring the 45 kilometres of alpine pistes or 220 kilometres of Nordic pistes.
