Mount Washington restructured their season pass options for this winter along Olympic themes in honor of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games. The new pass lineup, on sale through September, features Gold, Silver, or Bronze Passes.
The new Gold Pass is now Mount Washington's premier pass. It offers unlimited skiing and snowboarding, night skiing, Nordic skiing, and Mile High Chairlift Rides in summer 2010. The Gold Pass also offers extra discounts and vouchers, including discounts on food and beverage, retail, and one private lesson. Two free hot waxes and one free two-hour snow tubing ticket are also included. Adult Gold Passes cost $899. Rates for children, ages 6-12, run $479. Gold Passes for youths, students, and seniors cost $699.
The Silver Pass is Mount Washington's no-frills, traditional season pass, valid for skiing seven days per week. Rates for Silver Passes run $40-70 less than Gold Passes.
The Bronze Pass is a revamped midweek pass. It includes midweek Nordic skiing and midweek night skiing, plus the addition of weekend skiing in April. Bronze Passes for adults cost $409. Child Bronze Passes cost $229, while youth and senior passes cost $249.
The new Student Pass aimed at full-time college and university students offers skiing and snowboarding seven days per week with no blackout dates. The pass also includes night skiing and Nordic skiing.
Families can get discounts on Gold and Silver Passes. A family of two can get 15 percent off while families of three or more get a 25 percent discount.
Mount Washington's season pass sale rates offer up to 20 percent off regular season prices. The sale ends Sept. 30.
