Mt. Bachelor added a new 12-day pass to their winter ticket options. Now frequent skiers and snowboarders who may not use the value of their season pass have an option for reduced lift tickets.
The new non-transferable 12-day pass costs $399 if purchased by Sept. 30. The pass drops the lift ticket to $33.25 per day. It is designed for both locals who ski up to 12 days and regional skiers who may take a few weekend trips per year.
The 12-day pass is valid any day of the week for the entire season, with the exception of blackout dates for the 2009-10 season: Dec. 26- Jan. 3, Jan. 16-18, and Feb. 13-15. Its price goes up to $499 Oct. 1.
Mt. Bachelor's season passes are also on sale through Sept. 30 frozen at the same rates as last year. Full season passes are discounted until then, with adult passes at $200 off. Other age group passes range in discount between $40 and $120 off. Full season passes have no blackout dates.
Mid-week passes for adults and seniors ages 65-69 are on sale with pre-season rates through Sept. 30. Discounts range $100-130. Mid-week passes are not valid during 2009-10 blackout dates: Dec. 26- Jan. 3, Jan. 16-18, and Feb. 13-15.
Prices for all season passes and the new 12-day pass go up Oct.1. Season passes may be purchased online or over the phone.
