Get Discounts With Early Bookings Before Nov. 15 At Whistler Blackcomb

Whistler Blackcomb may be hopping this winter as the venue for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games, but the ski slopes will still be open to skiers and snowboarders. Both mountains plan to be 100 percent open to the public before and after the Games and 90 percent open to the public during the games.

Visitors booking early for winter vacations at Whistler Blackcomb can get discounts. The discounts are locked in at a low rate, but the resort guarantees that if the price drops for the equivalent package during the winter season, they'll match it for you.

The early booking discounts are available to those who book their reservations by Nov. 15. Rooms start at $88 per person per night. The discounts are as large as 39 percent.

Three packages are available under the early booking discount. One package targets those watching the pocketbook while another adds luxury. A third package is available for a family of four with two young children. Kids 12 years old and under stay, ski, rent, and receive airport transfers for free.

The early booking packages start with four nights' lodging and three days' skiing, but you can add on as many more nights or ski days as you'd like. Blackout dates for availability are Dec. 22, 2009 through Jan. 1, 2010 but the early booking discount is valid all other days of the season.
