Cascade Season Pass Sale Runs Through October

The Cascade Mountain season pass sale runs though the end of October, and they have a pass to fit just about any busy schedule.

For those that don't like to wait in lines, Cascade offers the Platinum Pass, priced at $422 through the end of the month—a 20 percent discount over the regular price of $515. It's direct to the lift, includes a tubing ticket and is good anytime the area is open.

If you don't mind stopping at the ticket window to pick up your eight-hour lift ticket, the Gold Flex Card, good anytime during the season, is currently $340 and goes up to $415 Nov. 1. The Gold Lite Flex Card, offering unlimited skiing Monday through Friday, is currently $267. It entitles you to a daily midweek eight-hour lift ticket.

They also have passes for skiing a single day per week throughout the season that start at $193. Children 12 and under receive a free lift ticket anytime they are accompanied by an adult with a lift ticket.

Cascade is celebrating its 50th season. Look for lots of special promotions throughout the season. Over the summer the Mountain spent $2 million on improvements—adding two new Prinoth groomers, 24 new snowguns, a state-of-the-art stone grinder for the ski shop and remodeling the chalet to offer more customer seating.

A pure ski hill, Cascade doesn't have to worry about lodging or a mint on the pillow. Their total effort is directed to providing a good experience on the 460-foot ski hill, which offers over 35 runs, four terrain parks and a high-speed quad lift. Cascade's bump runs are legendary—they'll make you wish for your younger knees again.
