 Powder Mountain, Snowbasin, Wolf Creek Resorts Lure Riders With Late Season Deals 

Powder Mountain will be hosting a food drive April 1. Each person who donates five non-perishable food items will have their choice of either a $40 all area adult lift pass for that day (a $16 discount) or a free single-ride Lightning Ridge Snowcat Pass ($12 value).

According to Powder Mountain CEO Gregg Greer, "Powder Mountain has enjoyed the support of the local community for years and has always tried to provide a good value for families to enjoy this beautiful area. An inexpensive day on the mountain is wonderful, but if you don't have enough to eat, more direct help is needed. With the help of our guests and loyal season pass holders, we hope this small contribution assists many." The idea for a food drive arose shortly after the resort's successful Stoked on Socks event, where 550 pairs of socks were donated to the homeless.

All donations will be given directly to the Ogden Rescue Mission. The Ogden Rescue Mission prepares more than 100,000 meals each year for those in need. It also distributes over 1,500 food boxes for local families during the holidays.

Snowbasin:

Snowbasin Resort will offer a beginner package including lesson, Little Cat Lift ticket and basic rental for $39 per day through the end of 2008-09 winter season. Beginner snowriders may also purchase a five-ride Adult Little Cat lift ticket for only $10 (children under 6 are free). Call (801) 620-1015.
