Blue Mountain Resorts runs year-round, operating their lifts into April for skiers and snowboarders and for sightseers starting mid-May. Those seeking fun in the snow can still pick up some last minute lodging specials between now and the end of the season.

The resort is offering several lodging packages good through Mar. 31. For one, the Vacation Ski and Stay package starts at $99.75 CAD per person per night. The rate, based on four people (two adults and two children), includes a minimum of four nights' accommodation in a two-bedroom slope-side condominium plus one day/night lift ticket per person following each overnight.

Other lodging packages at the resort include spa treatments or golf. Most lodging packages can be upgraded to include entrance passes to Plunge! Aqua Centre.

Blue Mountain plans to run its lifts as long as it can in April. The resort celebrated its last day of skiing Apr. 26 last year, Erin Hammond, spokesperson for the resort, told us. "How late we are open for skiing and snowboarding this season still depends on the snow and temperatures," she added.
