 Spring Skiing For Less In The Dolomites; Kids Free 

The giant Dolomiti Superski region's DolomitiSuperSun offer is under way once again offering free skiing and special promotions and discounts for younger children through to the end of the season 2009.

Skipass and accommodation are free - on purchase of an adult skipass at the same time - for children under the age of eight years. Youngsters under 12 pay half of the price for their holiday. The offer applies to all participating establishments as well as open ski resorts for a maximum of two children for a minimum stay of seven days with children sleeping in their parents' room.

Many hotels and guesthouses welcome children, offering competent care for the little ones, entertainment, and children's parties as well as game rooms and popular menus.

The "Free skipass under 8" has been very popular for years. It is linked to the purchase of an adult skipass and was issued 132,000 times last year. Prices of day and multiple-day ski passes for children and juniors are reduced by 30 percent and are valid, exactly like the "Free skipass under 8", for the whole season.

Dolomiti Superski's vast area covers around 50 separate ski areas, many of them lift-linked together, and offers over 800 miles of ski runs served by nearly 500 ski lifts all on the one ticket.

The supervised winter funparks have turned into a very popular attraction, with gnomes and fairy-tale figures. Children-friendly, safe conveyor lifts, slides, snow tubes, trampolines, and other snow fun equipment wait for the kids under competent supervision.
