OnTheSnow with you on the go.
English (US) (Change)The month of February hit Mammoth Mountain hard. More than six feet of snow fell on the Eastern Sierra giant - and that was in the first 18 days of the month.
Because it possesses a snowpack that's approaching the 20-foot level, Mammoth looks to be spinning its network of lifts until Memorial Day, if not the 4th of July.
With all that in mind, you might want to avail yourself of some special deals Mammoth has to offer this spring and - dare we say - summer?
First off, there's Ski for $53 plan, wherein you pay $212 for a 4 of 5-day lift and get the little-more-than-half-century cost per day. That works out to a $30 discount off the regular daily adult lift ticket price. There are also Ski for $53 plans for youths between the ages of 13-18 ($158), children between 7-12 ($105), and seniors between 65-79 ($105).
The only bad thing about this good deal is that the offer ends March 29.
Another spring offer you might want to check out is the $99 Slopeside Lodging deal. For a buck less than a C-note per night you can stay at the Mammoth Mountain Inn (Sundays through Thursdays) for as many days as you like. They also have a similar deal for weekends but that has a two-night minimum stay.
More spring offerings can be found online.
