Save 30 Percent On Rentals At Whistler Blackcomb

Many skiers and snowboarders who travel by air are now renting equipment instead of taking their own. Renting gear not only saves on extra baggage fees charged by some airlines, but saves the hassle of lugging large, heavy bags.

Whistler Blackcomb now offers a way to get a 30 percent discount on rentals for skiers and snowboarders. Renters who pre-book by phone or online at least three full days in advance of their reservations are eligible for the discount.

Pick up rental gear after arriving at Whistler Blackcomb after 4 p.m. at one of seven locations. All rental shops stay open until 9 p.m. through Apr. 9 or until 6 p.m. from Apr. 10 through closing day. A few locations also offer overnight storage for those who pre-book online.

Over 12,000 ski and snowboard rentals are available in a variety of models at the resort. Find high performance, women-specific, kids, and beginner gear. Renters also can trade in ski gear for snowboard equipment or vice versa to swap between disciplines.

Multiple-day rentals also save more money when purchased in advance, rather than renting each day separately. The per-day cost reduces for each additional rental day. Skiers and riders from the U.S. will find their rates about 20 percent less due to the exchange rate.
