Grand Targhee launched four ways to save money on lift tickets and season passes. The resort not only added several spring lift ticket and pass deals good still for this season, but is also selling next year's season pass at this year's rates for a limited time.

Targhee's Daylight Savings Pass, meant for those who still want a season pass to finish out this year, allows unlimited skiing and riding from Mar. 8-the date daylight savings time starts--through closing day. Adults can purchase the Daylight Savings Pass for $199. Young adults, ages 13-22, can buy it for $169, while children and seniors only need to pay $99 for the pass.

Kids lift tickets also drop to $15 for six days each week, Sundays through Fridays. Childrens tickets are good for kids ages 6-12. The Saturday lift ticket rates for kids remain at $39.

Targhee also celebrates Carpool Sundays when those arriving with three or more people per vehicle receive a $10 off coupon ($5 for seniors) for lift tickets and a coupon for a free small coffee or hot chocolate.

Those ready to purchase their 2009-10 Season Passes can buy them now at 2008-09 rates. The new rates, which have not been announced yet, will go into effect after this year's closing day. "This season pass purchase opportunity offers an excellent way for our local and regional guests to save," said Targhee's Shannon Brooks Hamby. "In addition to winter season access, it also includes lift access to our mountain biking and hiking trails during the 2009 summer months. We hope to see a lot of our local and regional skiers and boarders take advantage of this great opportunity."
