Discovery Ski Area and Fairmont Hot Springs sit only a 30-minute drive apart. The pair have put together ski, soak, and stay packages that can save you a few dollars between your lodging and lift tickets.
Their midweek packages are the least expensive. Two adults can stay two nights and ski two days for $335. A one-night midweek package includes one night's lodging, two full day lift tickets to Discovery, and two all day waterslide passes for $169. For both packages, lodging nights must be between Mondays and Thursdays and skiing days must be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.
Discovery and Fairmont are also offering weekend packages. A two-night package, which includes four full day lift tickets and four all day waterslide passes, costs $379. One night lodging packages are available for Thursdays through Sundays with skiing extending to Mondays. The packages include one night accommodations, two full day lift tickets, and two all day waterslide passes for $195.
Fairmont's Olympic-sized hot pools are open 24 hours a day. Unlimited use is included in the packages. One indoor and one outdoor hot pool stay at 94 degrees, while a smaller outdoor pool heats to 104 degrees. The newly-rebuilt five-story tall waterslide is 350 feet long.
The hot springs recently added luxurious comforters to all of their rooms. The hotel also includes a restaurant and a lounge.
