Want to stay right in the action at Fernie Alpine Resort? Then, try the Cornerstone Lodge, sitting right in Fernie's skier plaza.

The Cornerstone, with a restaurant, coffee shop and deli, indoor hot tub, and one- or two-bedroom condos, sits on the slopeside corner of the plaza. Park the car in underground garage and leave it until your departure.

The ski in-ski out lodge, which is centrally located to access all base area lifts, also houses children's daycare and sits only 20 paces from the Kids Wilderness Park that houses the magic carpet and the corral where lessons meet. Rooms come equipped with washer and dryers to handle the laundry from kid messes. The plaza also puts the ski shop, ticket office, rentals, the Grizzly Bar, and several restaurants within a few steps of the lodge.

The Cornerstone is offering spring deals for skiers and riders. Stay three nights and pay for two nights on any midweek stay in March. Overnight stays for their 3-for-2 Midweek Special must be new bookings on Sunday to Thursday nights.
