Eldora Offers a Women’s Program For Front Rangers

Gather the gals and head up to Eldora for Women’s Days. Two four-week sessions are coming up. Hit the slopes Tuesdays, Feb. 19 through March 12, or Wednesdays, Feb. 20 to March 13. This consecutive week program for women is offered in alpine, cross-country, snowboarding, and telemark skiing.

Women’s Days include a continental breakfast, gourmet lunch, and four hours of training with Eldora’s instructors. Women get a chance to get better, get in shape, and have some fun with other women on the snow.

The cost for Session II is $359 if you have a season pass or $439 without a pass. That’s for skiing, snowboarding, or telemark skiing. The same session for cross-country skiing is $309 with a pass or $359 without a pass.

There are no makeup days for missed classes as the Eldora writes on its website, “Skiing is a winter sport which can involve wind, snow, and below freezing temperatures.”

The resort has been getting some snow along with the rest of Colorado. Eldora’s Marketing Coordinator, Tavid Bingham, said recent snow has been fantastic. “Some of our much anticipated glade terrain is beginning to open. Locals’ favorites Jolly Jug Glades and Brian’s Glades are now open and we anticipate more expert terrain to open very soon.”

Eldora is 21 miles west of Boulder, and one of the closest resorts to the Front Range. Parking is free and you’ll find 11 chairlifts serving 680 acres. Eldora has three terrain parks off of Corkscrew trail, Bonanza trail, and Foxtail trail.
