Visitors flock to Bend, Oregon for its downtown buzz, the Deschutes Brewery, and Mt. Bachelor, the state’s biggest ski resort. The slopes pack with activities: skiing, snowboarding, terrain parks, tubing, Nordic trails, snowshoe tours, and dogsledding. This spring, skiers and snowboarders can get free lodging and lift tickets tacked onto packages that pair up Mt. Bachelor fun with lodging in Bend.
Mt. Bachelor Resort is offering a ski free and stay free package that adds on a third day of lift tickets and a third night of lodging free. Extras can also be tacked on to the package, such as ski or snowboard rentals, children or adult lessons, and activities.
One of the benefits of this package is the lift ticket pick up. The lift tickets in the package are provided at check in at the lodging property. You won’t have to wait in the ticket window line to pick them up, but can go straight to the chairlifts.
The lift tickets for the package are available for adults, youth, teens, and seniors. But because of Mt. Bachelor’s ski free program for kids, the third day free package works best for adults or families with teenage kids. The package is available for a variety of Bend lodging properties, but is only valid through April 14, 2013.
Seventh Mountain Inn, the closest accommodations to the ski area, is also offering a stay free and ski free package. You pay for three days of lift tickets and three nights of lodging to get the fourth day of skiing free and the fourth night of lodging free.
The inn also honors Mt. Bachelor’s kids ski free program, so this package works best for families with teens or couples. The inn offers complimentary shuttles to Mt. Bachelor on weekends and holidays.
In order to get the free skiing and lodging packages, reservations must be booked at least three days in advance. For third day ski free and stay free packages, call 800-609-1472 or look here. For the Seventh Mountain Inn package, call 877-765-1501 or go here.
