Salomon Freeski TV has filmed in some pretty exotic and unfamiliar (to the ski community) locations, but the latest episode may take the cake. In Episode 9 of Season 6, skiers Elyse Saugstad and Kim Havell travel to the Italian island of Sicily, in the Mediterranean Sea, to ski the active Volcano Mt. Etna. The crew even got lucky enough to witness an eruption while skiing the mountain. Salomon Freeski wonders, "Kim Havell and Elyse Saugstad spend a week there trying to decide which is more alluring and dangerous: the romantically-charged Sicilian males or the lava-spewing volcanic crater of Mt Etna?"
