Sierra-at-Tahoe offers Discounted Lift Tickets to 49er Fans on Super Bowl Sunday

Sierra-at-Tahoe wants to offer all San Francisco 49er fans cheap lift tickets and an exciting spot to watch the Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013.

Sierra is the closest major ski resort to San Francisco and to celebrate the success of the Niners, they are allowing anyone wearing a 49er jersey, jacket or sweatshirt on that Sunday purchase a $49 lift ticket. Just walk inside the season pass office next to the ticket window to purchase a discounted ticket and show your pride. That’s a $30 savings from the normal ticket window cost.

After you get your turns in during the morning, you won’t have to go far to check out the game, because the mountain will be hosting an exciting viewing party in The Sierra Pub within the main lodge. Here you’ll find food and drink specials, contests, games and giveaways, as well as the game on every TV. There will be 49 cent fries, chicken wings, tacos and more. The contests and games will be held during halftime. The party will go until the last whistle is blown, and the mountain is providing a shuttle back to South Tahoe once the game is over.
