In celebration of the San Francisco 49ers making it to the Superbowl, Mt Rose is selling several $49 specials on game day, Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013.

Spend the morning on the slopes, before heading into Reno or Tahoe to watch the game during the afternoon. Save money by purchasing the lift ticket online in advance for just $49. They will also be selling first-timer packages for the adults and Rosebuds for the kids for $49 that must also be purchased in advance online.

The First Timer package is for anyone ages 11 and older and includes a beginner lift ticket, all-day rental equipment (ski or snowboard) and a two-hour lesson. The beginner lift ticket allows access to Ponderosa, Galena, & the Flying Jenny lifts. For skiers ages 4 to 10 and snowboarders 7 to 10, there’s a similar deal called Rosebuds. These group lessons are perfect way for kids to have fun and learn at the same time. For added safety, Rosebuds also includes a helmet rental for the youngsters.

For non-game day lift tickets, another great way to save is to purchase multiple day tickets. You can save 10 percent for two consecutive days or 20 percent for three consecutive days.
