Shawnee on Delaware, PA – January 2013 is National Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month and Shawnee Mountain is pleased to announce its participation in this nationwide effort to get people outside and enjoying winter activities. We encourage those new to snow sports to take a lesson and those who are experienced, to bring a friend or the family.
Shawnee Mountain will kick off the month-long promotion on Thursday, January 3rd with 100 introductory Learn to Ski or Snowboard Packages for the cost of $20 each. All proceeds from this one day promotion will be donated to the Bushkill Outreach Program. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 570-421-7231 ext. 210. Some restrictions do apply.
For the remainder of January,ShawneeMountainwill be offering a discount coupon good for a $59 Learn to Ski or Snowboard Package available online at www.shawneemt.com. This package includes a lift ticket, rental equipment and a first time group lesson.
Operating day and night,ShawneeMountainis well-known as being a beginner friendly ski area, welcoming all levels of skiers and riders.
