Save 30-40% on Lift, Rentals and Lodging at Sugar Mountain

Following the Winter Solstice, and especially once the New Year arrives, the push is on to get out and make the most of winter in its remaining months, thanks to a little extra light. Heading to the mountain is the ideal way to capture the essence of the season, with chilly air, snowy views of picturesque mountains and of course, plenty of fresh corduroy to carve. Sugar Mountain Ski Area in North Carolina is offering skiers and riders a chance to save 30-40 percent on a winter getaway during the peak of the season.

Mid-Season Winter Value Packages are available Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 - Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in other words, the best time to be on the mountain. Packages include lodging, lift tickets, equipment rentals and even lessons for the whole family. Stay 3, 4 or 5 nights Sunday through Thursday and ski/ride 2, 3, or 4 sessions available Monday through Thursday only.

The Winter Value Package is not available Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 (Martin Luther King Birthday) or Monday, Feb. 18, 2012 (President's Day). Children 4 & under and seniors 70+ receive complimentary lift/slope tickets.

Lodging is offered by three Sugar Mountain lodging partners, each one providing a unique experience and top-notch accommodations.

Sugar Mountain Accommodations Center and Realty's privately owned homes and condominiums are located on the mountaintop (Sugar Mountain has two peaks), next to the ski slopes and nestled in wooded hollows. Each property offers well-appointed and fully furnished living to make you feel right at home, without the confinement of a hotel room.

Sugar Mountain Resort Accommodations, like the name suggests, means you'll be staying as close to the snow as possible without sleeping on the chairlift. Accommodations range from an efficiency for two to a six bedroom home that sleeps 16. Each property is privately owned and fully furnished with well equipped kitchens and cozy wood burning fireplaces. Some units offer pool, sauna or Jacuzzis as well.

Sugar Ski & Country Club includes a slew of fully-equipped Efficiency, Loft, One Bedroom or Two Bedroom condominium units. All include fireplace, cable TV, kitchen and dishwasher and a central Clubhouse offers heated indoor pool, sauna and Jacuzzi.
