Montana’s Discovery Ski Area may have the answer to holiday gift giving. Their Discovery Five-Packs make easy gifts, and they can get you and your family or friends on the slopes this winter.

The Discovery Five-Pack contains five lift tickets good for ages 13-64. What’s so cool about this packet of five lift tickets? It’s fully transferable. Because of the transferability, you can split the five-pack between family members or friends. You can even divide up the lift tickets to give away individually as holiday presents for friends or co-workers.

The five-pack costs $180. That rate makes each lift ticket cost $36 instead of $40 at the ticket window.

The Discovery Five-Packs are on sale until Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2012. You can order them on line or by phone.

Discovery also sells a 10-pack of lift tickets that is limited to two different age groups — kids 12 years old and younger and seniors 65 years and older. With each pack costing $180, the tickets make each day of skiing cost $18 rather than $20 at the ticket window.

The 10-packs are not transferable. So you need to know that you’ll ski 10 days to make them worth the cost.
