Ski school in Wolf Creek, Colorado
It’s intimidating enough to strap on skis or a snowboard for the first time – the price of learning shouldn’t be any more alarming. Wolf Creek Ski Area is offering never-ever skiers and snowboarders an affordable way to get comfortable sliding on snow this winter without blowing your budget.
Wolf Creek’s Beginner Package features a dual lift and lesson ticket that combines lift access on the Nova beginner chairlift with a four-hour group lesson for $56 for skiers or $66 for snowboarders. The Beginner Package is available for curious skiers or snowboarders ages 9 and older any day throughout the winter season.
But perhaps you’ve had a few days (or seasons) under your belt or don’t need a lesson. A good deal on lift tickets will come just as naturally. Wolf Creek’s Local Appreciation Days offer guests $35 adult lift tickets and $20 children/seniors lift tickets on various days throughout the 2012-2013 season. Of course, you don’t actually need to be a local to score this deal. Just show up on one of these dates to take advantage of cheap lift tickets with no strings attached. Wolf Creek’s Local Appreciation Days will occur on: Nov. 14, 18, 28; Dec. 5, 12; Jan. 9, 23, 30; Feb. 3, 10, 27; Mar. 6, 31; and Apr. 3, 7.
College students can get in on the deal even more frequently during Wolf Creek's College Days. Students with a valid college ID can scoop up $35 lift tickets on Dec. 2, 9; Jan. 6, 13; Feb. 24; Mar. 24, 30; and Apr. 6.
