So often discounted lift ticket cards are toward local skiers and snowboarders. Not at Panorama Mountain Village tucked into the southeastern Kootenay Mountains in British Columbia. The resort’s SnowCard works for visitors planning to ski the resort this winter as well.
The Panorama SnowCard has no restrictions on purchasing. Anyone from anywhere in the world can buy one, making it a viable option for skiers and snowboarders vacationing, even for just a few days. With the card, you can lap groomers on the Champagne Express or hop the Summit Quad for the maximum vertical for a discount rate.
The card is good for four days of lift tickets at Panorama. After those fours days are used, lift tickets can be bought at $15 off the ticket window rate for the remainder of the season.
SnowCards cost $149 for adults, $139 for youth and seniors, and $99 for kids. For adults, that reduces the daily lift ticket to $37 instead of the ticket window rates of $71-$74. SnowCards can also be set up to allow for bypassing the ticket window and going straight to the lift.
With the exception of blackout dates, the cards are valid for use any day during Panorama’s winter season scheduled to run Dec. 14, 2012 through Apr. 7, 2013. They are good on all four of Panorama’s festival weekends--including the Snowflake, Mardi Gras, Stampede, and Spring Carnival. Blackout dates for using the SnowCard’s four tickets include holiday periods of Dec. 26 - Jan. 1 and Feb. 16 - 18. However, you can still use the card to purchase the discounted lift tickets at $15 off during the holidays.
SnowCards are available for purchase online. Go here for more information.
