Boyne Mountain Resort, consisting of Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands, is the 2012 OnTheSnow Visitors' Choice Award winner for Best Nightlife in the Midwest. There are plenty of options for dining, drinking, dancing, music and shopping at Boyne Highlands (Slopeside Lounge, Zoo Bar), Boyne Mountain (Eriksen's, Everett's, Pierson's, Snowflake Lounge, Trophy Room) and nearby Bay Harbor, Mich. (South American). The Upper Peninsula resort is the best Midwest Resort for Nightlife in the 2012 OnTheSnow Visitors' Choice Awards.
WHERE TO GO FOR LIVE MUSIC: Boyne Mountain Resort’s Snowflake Lounge, located in the Clock Tower Lodge, is where guests head to enjoy some great cocktails while listening to great local Michigan musical acts and other live entertainment. The lounge also features a light bar menu with appetizers, sandwiches and salads.
WHERE TO GO FOR DANCING: The dance scene at Boyne Mountain Resort is located at The Zoo Bar, whose name alone may say it all. The bar features live entertainment, great spirits and a first class dance scene. The Zoo Bar claims to be the “wildest après ski experience in northern Michigan.”
WHERE TO GO FOR DRINKS: There are plenty of drink options for guests of the Boyne Mountain Resort. Guests can enjoy the Slopeside Lounge or Zoo Bar located at Boyne Highlands; Eriksen’s, Everett’s, Pierson’s, the Snowflake Lounge or Trophy Room at Boyne Mountain.
