What's new in Davos Klosters for 2012-2013 ski season?
The Davos Klosters Snowsport School is opening this winter. Run by local mountain guides, they offer action-packed off-piste, with freeriding, ski tours, snowshoe treks or ice climbing.
The Jatz Park (2,300m) on the Jakobshorn is going to be bigger and better this year. The enlarged Jatz Park now has four lines for beginners, intermediates and pros as well as a jibline. These are short, intensive runs with more than 20 elements such as kickers and rails.
Also new this year, the four-star Hilton Garden Inn is due to open November; the Waldhotel Davos has undergone extensive renovation; and rooms have been modernised at Casino Davos.
