Score lift tickets from Park City Mountain Resort at dirt-cheap prices while getting your philanthropic fix on at the same time. Park City's annual Benefit Days lift ticket extravaganza starts Monday, October 15 and a limited number of $25 lift tickets will go on sale, with proceeds supporting a local non-profit.
In its 10th year, the Benefit Days lift tickets have provided a handful of Park City non-profits with more than a half-million dollars in funding. This year, all lift ticket purchases go to support the community education programs at the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter, a nature center that helps protect more than 1,200 acres of undeveloped land and beloved alpine ecosystems.
These tickets are fair game from opening day on November 17 through December 16. After that, your all-access lift ticket becomes nothing more than a glorified donation receipt. If a lift ticket could talk, it would say something like, “Use ‘em or lose ‘em.”
Although you don’t have to be a Utah resident to take advantage of these ridiculously cheap lift tickets, there is one caveat: you have to buy them in person. Locals can stop by Park City Resort’s services office, the Swaner Nature Preserve, any Jans and Cole Sport locations in Park City or the Sports Den in Salt Lake City. Out-of-towners can bribe their Utah friends into being Good Samaritans and stopping by any of those locations. (Whether your friend imposes a ticket-handling fee or not is up to them.)
Tickets are limited to four per person. The Benefit Days sale ends whenever tickets are sold out.
