Purchase your season pass at Arapahoe Basin this year and you’re getting a year's worth of bonus skiing. The pass is called the Double Down 2 Season Pass and it gets you two years of skiing at A-Basin.“We wanted to come up with something new. It’s a great value,” says Leigh Hierholzer, A-Basins' Director of Marketing.
The pass is valid for both the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 seasons with unlimited, unrestricted access to the mountain. The pass costs $499 and results in a savings of $99, according to Hierholzer, “You can save $99 by buying it for two years.” She adds, “It’s been great. People are interested that it’s a new product and something they can lock into and not worry about it for two years. It’s especially good with our long season.”
The pass comes with benefits such as a half-day class lessons for $45, discounts on food, beverage, ski tuning, and retail, as well as discounted tickets for friends and family. Ski Pass Insurance is also offered on all A-Basin pass products. You must purchase the pass by Dec. 31. A-Basin is usually one of the first resorts in the country to open up for the season, and one of the last to close, making this pass's value even higher.
