Over the weekend, snow has been falling in the Alps - particularly on the upper slopes of Saas-Fee in Switzerland and Zell am See-Kaprun in Austria.

Saas Fee's Allalin glacier (3,500m) received 45cm on Sunday and now has a total depth of 128cm. Kaprun's Kitzsteinhorn glacier (3,000m) now has 30cm of fresh snow.

It's not just the glaciers that are getting snow, James Cove from PlanetSki is in the Austrian Alps and reporting snow as low as 1,800 metres.
