Bring a package of new socks to Powder Mountain on Thursday, February 26, 2009 for $16 off an all access day pass. Powder Mountain is collaborating with Stoked On Socks in order to give the ski/snowboard community an opportunity to help the homeless by donating what they want most, new socks. Stoked On Socks, a non-profit organization founded by former pro-snowboarder Mitch Nelson, will be at the Timberline Lodge at Powder Mountain to collect the donations. Stoked On Socks distributes the contributions to The Rescue Mission of Salt Lake, Road Home Homeless Shelter, Volunteers of America, and Wasatch Homeless Healthcare. The $16 discount will be deducted from the regular $56.00 adult lift pass at the time of purchase, and may not be combined with any other offer.
