The Green Mountain State produces an astonishing variety of tasty foods, and many of them will be showcased at Magic Mountain Friday Jan. 16.
The Vermont Sugar House will be at Magic that day sampling Vermont made treats including Sugar on Snow.
Other Vermont food producers participating in Vermont Foods Day include Cabot Cheese, Vermont Maple, Northeast Kingdom Mustard, Westminster Crackers, Nutty Steph's Vermont Granola, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Vermont Mystic Pie Co., and Spoondance Creamery.
The Vermont Specialty Foods Day activities take place 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. outside the Base Lodge.
Lift tickets will be $15 for all skiers and riders. Magic Card holders ski and ride for $5.
Speaking of the Magic Card, holders pay $25 for midweek tickets, get $10 off weekend and holiday tickets, receive special discounts on various offerings throughout the season. The Magic Card costs $39, is not transferable, is good for one lift ticket per day, and must be presented when buying a ticket.
