Ride Like A Girl At Mountain High In Jan. , Feb.

Mountain High Resort, which initiated a successful learn-to-ride program for women 30 and older last season, is taking aim at a younger demographic this year.

Partnering with ROXY, which designs and manufactures hard goods and soft wear specifically for women, and Snowboard Magazine, Mountain High has created Sunset Sessions, a series of evening park clinics for girls in January and February.

Geared toward female snowboarders between the ages of 16 and 29 who are comfortable on green and blue runs, Sunset Sessions provides an encouraging environment where participants can progress at their own pace under the tutelage of Mountain High's certified female coaches.

Sunset Sessions is offered in two four-week sessions and takes place every Wednesday in January and February from 7-9 p.m. (the January session starts the 7^th, the February session begins the 4^th). The $99 cost excludes lift ticket, which can be obtained at a discount, and gear rental. Each participant receives a four- week clinic, a free subscription to Snowboard Magazine, an opportunity to demo ROXY snowboards, and a chance to ride with the ROXY Team. Each clinic ends with complimentary hot drinks and dessert.
