The first part of the Discover Skiing Program is a 45-minute class taught at Hi Tempo Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. They are free, but pre-registration is required by calling (651) 429-3333. The class covers ski equipment and clothing, how to properly use rental equipment, and how to start skiing or riding on a budget. Students are eligible to purchase a special Discover Skiing pass that includes a lift ticket, rental package, and a lesson for $10 per person or $25 for the entire family, upon completion of the dryland class. When participants complete the Discover Skiing on-snow class, they receive a complementary gift bag that includes a special discount offer for Wild's next level of ski lessons. Called "Get Hooked on Skiing," the package includes three lessons with rentals and lifts included and normally sells for $99. The Discover Skiing graduate can purchase the package for $50 - an incredible value.
