Jiminy Peak Celebrates 60th With Winter Deals, Discounts, Specials

Jiminy opened for skiing in December 1948 and, since then, has grown into a four-season resort that is the jewel of the Berkshires.

Skiing and riding remain the heart of the operation with 44 trails and nine lifts on 172 acres of snowsports terrain.

Jiminy is marking the 60th with new offerings that include reduced weekend/non-holiday lift ticket rates, expanded e-coupon days, multi-day pricing, children's programs, and lodging specials.

Anniversary celebrations will be on Saturdays: Jan. 10, Feb. 7, and March 21.

Eight-hour Adult Weekend lift tickets are now $56 during non-holiday periods, down from $59 in 2007-08.

Jiminy Peak is offering extensive winter specials for the 2008-09 season. Most notable is the reduction of weekend pricing. Jiminy will continue with e-coupon specials offered at jiminypeak.com with the most e-coupons ever published at the start of their season. Jiminy Peak's Value Card continues to be a great way for skiers and riders who frequent the mountain to save.

Multi Day Discounts are better than ever this year offering a first day at full price, $10 off the second day, $15 off everyday thereafter. Multi Day tickets now also include free night skiing. Jiminy's Children's Programs participants also can receive Multi Day Discounts, Monday-Thursday, non-holiday. Guests who purchase a first day of SKIWee or Explorers lessons at full price will receive 50 percent off each, additional, consecutive day of lessons.
