OnTheSnow with you on the go.
English (US) (Change)First off, there's the Learn to Ski and Ride Days Jan. 11, Feb. 8, and March 8, when first-time skiers and snowboarders are eligible for $35 beginner packages that include lift ticket, lesson, and equipment rentals. Then there's the Squaw Club, in which full-time residents of the Reno/Tahoe area (or living in a 50-mile radius of Squaw Valley) can purchase a lift ticket every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for $49 (there's a $5 fee to join the club). Or consider the resort's frequent rider program, in which enrollees ($5 online or $10 at ticket windows) get one free lift ticket for every four days of riding. Or check out the College Pass, a restricted season pass (it's not good on Saturdays or during the usual holiday blackout periods) that goes for $299 for anyone who is a full-time student at a two- or four-year college or is enrolled in a graduate program.
