Castle Mountain, Alberta, still has a discount ski card available for purchase for this season. The Cruise the Castle Card saves you dollars each time you purchase a lift ticket.

The card allows you one day of skiing or snowboarding for free. Then, every full-day lift ticket you purchase comes with a $13 discount on adult tickets. Juniors, students, seniors purchase their lift tickets at $9 off.

The discount applies only to full-day lift tickets, but you can use it any day of the 2008-09 season, for there are no blackout dates. The resort aims to open its slopes Dec. 13 this winter and run its lifts until closing day April 5.

Adult Cruise The Castle Cards cost $69.95. Senior, junior, and students cards cost $10 less. The nonrefundable cards are nontransferable and may only be used once per day. Cruise the Castle are on sale through Dec. 23.

Purchase the cards at a variety of outlets in Pincher Creek, Lethbridge, Okotoks, Calgary, Red Deer, and Edmonton. Cards must be activated at a Castle Mountain Resort ticket window on the first day of use.
