Special Baby Weeks Mean Savings, Good Care In Disentis

Any parent with a very young child who wants to take a ski holiday but is concerned about the quality olf care for their child, and possibly also the costs, will be interested to hear about a special offer this winter in the small Swiss resort of Disentis.

The Switzerland Travel Centre is highlighting the family-friendly Hotel Disentiserhof which is offering special baby weeks  throughout January.  These weeks ensure that  babies and toddlers are very well cared for by a professional nurse while Mum and Dad enjoy a full day on the slopes.

Available between Monday and Friday from 10am and 4pm each day, the service, which is available to youngsters aged between four months to three years, costs only £75 per child, per week.

The hotel is also home to Globis Castle complete with turrets where youngsters under 12 years of age can enjoy complimentary play sessions six nights per week, plus a one night  sleepover .

Other facilities include swimming pool, fitness room, sauna, bowling alley, along with ice rink and sledge run.

A seven-night holiday in January costs from £809 per adult (twin share), with children between six and 11 years charged £311 each for price examples. Those under six years, pay £178 each.

Prices, based on two adults and two children sharing a two-bedroom suite, include return flights from Heathrow, taxes, rail transfers, half-board accommodation, and a six-day ski pass.

Skiers in Disentis have access to some 60 km of marked downhill runs and there are also opportunities for snowboarding, ski touring, and deep snow skiing.
