The ski industry values the importance of a solid education. That’s why Peak Resorts is offering undergrads an easy lesson in shredonomics for the upcoming winter/spring term.
With the "Higher Education Pass," full-time scholars—12 credit minimum—can get unlimited access to five mountains with no blackout dates. Ski or ride at Attitash, Crotched and Wildcat in New Hampshire, Jack Frost and Big Boulder in Pennsylvania, and Mount Snow in Vermont all on one pass. It’s like paying one tuition and taking classes at five east coast schools... only a whole lot cheaper.
Passes are just $319 and can be purchased through any of the five participating mountains until December 12.
Plus, unlike tuition, the pass comes with some perks:
- All passholders get two discounted "Bring a Friend" lift tickets ($40 each) valid Monday through Friday, non-holidays at Attitash, Wildcat Mountain and Mount Snow.
- Passes bought through Crotched Mountain include two Midnight Madness visits for skiing under the lights.
Students must provide proof of enrollment via a letter from the Registrar’s Office (on super official letterhead, with a fancy raised seal) and a school-issued mugshot (photo id).
Want an opportunity to earn a free pass? Participating mountains are scouting for college reps to sell passes on their respective campuses. Check the mountain’s website for current rep contact info and earn your turns this season. You’ll never get that opportunity with the school system. Get educated.
