Zell Am See-Kaprun Wraps Up Winter With Week-Long Party March 26-April 3

Zell am See-Kaprun celebrates the end of the winter season with the "Sun, Snow and Party Week" March 26 to April 3.

The highlights of this year's event are performances from the rock singer Anna F. and duo "Attwenger" from Upper Austria. The week also features a full programme of events and culinary treats from the region.

Lenny Kravitz discovered the singer Anna F. (Anna Wappel) last year and took her on tour as his supporting act. Anna then made a name for herself with the pop song Time Stands Still. Her concert in Zell am See is set to kick off at 9 p.m. March 30 on the stage in front of the Ferry Porsche Congress Centre. The town hosts a fashion show accompanied by supporting live acts from 7 p.m.

The following day, March 31, DJ SteveMoCelli is playing rock and soul tunes on the Kitzsteinhorn at an altitude of 2500 metres. April 1 is "Rock die Burg" (Rock The Mountain) where the modern Austrian folk music duo "Attwenger" celebrate their 20th anniverary. Hans-Peter Falkner and Markus Binder, from Upper Austria, will be performing at Kaprun Castle.

The legendary Spash Contest, accompanied by music and side events, wraps up the week April 2.
