Wyoming ski resorts wrap up their seasons in the next several weeks. Grand Targhee Resort plans to operate the longest in the state with its lifts turning until April 17.
March and April have been known to average more than seven feet of new snow at Grand Targhee, and the resort plans to take advantage of that. It intends to keep its lifts running through April 17, two weeks longer than most of the resorts in the state.
The resort has also introduced a Daylight Savings Pass, which is valid through closing day. The pass costs $199 for adults, $169 for young adults, and $99 for juniors and seniors. For adults, the pass costs less than three full days of lift tickets. The Daylight Savings Pass can be purchased at the Grand Targhee Activity Center, by phone, or online.
Another spring deal is available at White Pine Ski Resort. The resort is offering two for one pricing on full day lift tickets on Thursdays and Sundays through the end of the season.
Wyoming's ski resorts begin closing down this week. The final day for the winter season at Snow King Resort is March 27. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has scheduled its last day for April 3, along with Sleeping Giant Ski Area and Hogadon Ski Area. White Pine may also close April 3. Snowy Range Ski and Recreation Area plans to run its lifts until April 10.
