The Portes du Soleil ski area is hosting its first ever "Go Wild Outdoor Music Festival" April 2-9.
The festival will feature 10 free pop and rock concerts in outdoor locations on the pistes, all of which will be accessible with a Portes du Soleil ski pass. SMS alerts will inform festival goers of the name of the group and the time and place of the gig.
Artists playing at the festival include BB Brunes, Kezia Jones, Inna Modja, Jamaica, and more.
An apres-ski scene, the "Festival Fringe", brings the best of the up and coming French music sene into the bars and clubs of the resort villages.
If you are interested in receiving the dates, locations, and times of the concerts taking place throughout the ski area, fill in the registration form on line and you will receive a text message on your mobile phone a few hours before the concert starts.
The Portes du Soleil ski area is made up of both French and Swiss resorts: Abondance, Avoriaz, Champery, Chatel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, Les Gets, Montriond, Morgins, Morzine-Avoriaz, St. Jean d'Aulps, Torgon, and Val-d'Illiez-Les Crosets-Chamoussin.
