The World's leading snowboarders will flock to Innsbruck Feb. 4-5 for the Billabong Air & Style.
This annual event is held at the Bergisel Stadium. The world's top 16 snowboarders will fight it out for the €75 prize money and 1000 TTR points.
Among the freestyle snowboarders competing this year are Marko Grilc, Andreas Wiig, Eero Ettala, Werni Stock, and Elias Elhardt.
Along with the pros, young boarders will also get a chance to showcase their talent. Some 12 young snowboarders will compete against each other as part of the Rookie Challenge - this competition is a fight for an invitation to the Billabong Air & Style Innsbruck-Tirol 2012.
The event takes place against a backdrop of live music - on centre stage will be Californian punk rockers Pennywise and the Hamburgian Jan Delay.
Ticket sales for Billabong Air & Style Innsbruck have already started. Tickets are available from the official Air & Style website for €43 for a grandstand ticket or €140 for VIP tickets. Tickets include free IVB public transportation in Innsbruck from Friday to Sunday morning and 50 percent off a one-day ski pass for the Innsbrucker Nordkette and the Axamer Lizum ski area.
