Powder Days Mean Big Deals At Copper; Check Out Snow Day Pass

It's almost too much to believe, but you can get a free day (kind of) on the snow at Copper Mountain, if the snow piles up to more than four inches. It's called the Snow Day Pass, and it costs $99. Your lift ticket is on the house, if Copper gets four inches of snow or more.

What are the odds? Copper averages 42 storms a year that will dump more than four inches of snow on the slopes. They even have a Web cam on the website so you can watch the fat flakes falling.

"The reaction to the Snow Day Pass so far has been unbelievably positive from guests, media and anyone who has heard about it yet. The pass is really designed for those guests who truly enjoy powder days and have the flexibility to be able to come to Copper on a Snow Day," according to Copper Mountain's David Roth.

There are no blackout dates as big storms don't have any idea what date it is. You are guaranteed access on two days: Super Bowl Sunday which is Feb. 6, and Tax Day April 15, which is a Friday. You'll also get two Friends & Family tickets, available for $59.

It's a picture pass, which means you can't share it or let someone else use it, it is also non-refundable, and quantities are limited. Roth recommends purchasing sooner rather than later as a lot already are being sold.
