Calabogie Peaks Has Packages For Holidays And Beyond

Calabogie Peaks, simply known as The Mountain around Ottawa and eastern Ontario, is offering holiday lift and lodging packages from $106 CA ($105 US) per person.

The package offer, good from Dec. 24 through Jan. 2, is based on double occupancy and requires a two-night stay. It includes free lift tickets and tubing tickets.  Breakfast and dinners can be added to the package for an extra cost. Breakfasts are $9 CA ($8.92 US) per person and a three-course dinner is $32 CA ($31.70 US) each.

There's still time to take advantage of the resort's Early Bird offer for lodging packages good during the regular season, Jan. 3-March 10, but they must be booked by Friday, Dec. 24.Lodging, based on quad occupancy, is available from $37 CA ($36.65 US) per person, per night. A minimum three-night stay is required, and a reserved guest can purchase three lift tickets during the stay for $69 CA ($68.35 US).

Calabogie, with a 760-foot vertical drop, offers Ottawa skiers and snowboarders a nice choice close to home. It's located less than an hour from Ontario's capital city, and the area's 22 runs and two terrain parks has terrain suitable for all levels. The resort's longest trail is about a mile-and-a-quarter long. Snowshoeing and groomed cross-country trails also are available for guests.
