Hidden Valley Moves To Two Daily Sessions For Ski Lift Tickets

Hidden Valley Four Season Resort in Pennsylvania has devised a new configuration for its lift tickets.

The resort will offer tickets for two sessions daily. The day session ticket will be valid from open to close, and a night session ticket will be valid from 4 p.m. until close.

"In the past, days were divided into three different sessions. Families were often scrambling to get everything together and to the mountain by a certain time in order to maximize fun for their dollar," Hidden Valley's Robert Duppstadt said.

Guests can purchase a ticket this year that allows them to ski from open to close for roughly the same price as the day or twilight session of the past.

For example, an all-day adult ticket good for skiing and riding 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturdays is $50, while an adult night ticket is good 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturdays is $32. Other tickets are less.

"This should eliminate any inconvenience involved in trying to be at the lodge at one specific time and free up families to enjoy the mountain at their own pace," Duppstadt said.

Hidden Valley also has added additional chutes to the snow tubing hill, and the parking area has been doubled in size.

A new seasonal locker room and more preferred parking spots have been added. The locker room offers the luxury and security of stowing your ski and snowboard equipment close to the slopes between visits, and the preferred parking ensures a short walk to the slopes all winter long.
