Ski Salt Lake's Super Pass Offers Early Purchase Perks Through Dec. 15

The Wasatch Mountains have been gifted with ample early season snowfall, and every northern Utah mountain resort has shared in the largesse.

Ski Salt Lake, the winter sports arm of the city's convention and visitors bureau, has an early-bird special on its four-resort, four-day pass that feeds right into this kind of optimism. Through Dec. 15 skiers and riders get four-for-the-price-of-three day lift tickets at Alta, Brighton, Snowbird, and Solitude during any stay of four or more days in the area. The deal comes with a free bus ride up and down the canyons, and as much as 25 percent off at specific lodgings and rental shops .

The short-term, flexible Super Pass can be used at any time for from one to six days out of a week, aiming at winter sports visitors who come for at least four days. Adults pay from $124 for two days to $384 for six days.  No blackout dates apply for the Ski Salt Lake Super Pass, and deeper discounts can be had by staying participating hotels, motels and inns in the Salt Lake area.
