Early Season, Ski With Santa Packages At Shanty Creek Resorts

How about early season lift and lodging pancakes under $70, and you might even be able to ski or ride with Santa.

Shanty Creek Resorts, overlooking northern Michigan, is offering an early season lift and lodging package the weekends of Dec. 3-4 and 10-11 starting from $69 per person, per night based on double occupancy. It also includes a 90- minute ski clinic.

You might even be able to ski or ride with Santa on Christmas Eve. Shanty is offering a Dec. 24 lift and lodging package starting from $65 per person, per night based on double occupancy. The package includes skiing and riding from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Day.

The resort's Christmas Ski Package, from $138 per person, per night based on double occupancy, includes breakfast and lift tickets Dec. 25 and 26.

The Ski & Breakfast lift and lodging package, starting from $159 per person, per night based on double occupancy is available Dec. 26-Jan. 1. The package includes complimentary night skiing night of arrival, breakfast and one superticket good for both the Summit and Schuss slopes. The cost of the package for the night of Dec. 31 is $164 per person.

Kids, 12 and under, eat and stay free at Shanty when staying with parents or guardians in the same room during December, excluding the holiday week, and midweek in January.
