Windham Mountain in the Catskills of New York State has benefited from an investment of $12 million over the last three years in new lifts, trails, snowmaking, attractions, and dining facilities.
The improvements included three new trails, four new lifts, and upgrades to resort snowmaking in the form of lines, fans, guns and water supply.
A bungee trampoline, rock climbing wall, and ice skating center/skateboard park all were added to the Windham Mountain Adventure Park.
The restaurant at the Winwood Inn was remodeled with timber, stone, and copper elements, and renamed the Rock'n Mexicana Cantina & Grill.
The base lodge exterior also was remodeled, and the roof redone. The Wunderbar Café was added. Windham Mountain Sports was expanded.
The Club at Windham Mountain, a private club on the third floor of the lodge, opened to the public for dinner reservations Friday and Saturday nights.
Windham season passes are on sale now, with the Adult Season pass $1,079, second family member $999, third and fourth family members $779 each, and fifth or more family members $269 each.
A Transferable Season Pass is $1,459. A Senior Pass for ages 65 and up is $299. A College Student Pass is $269. A Sunday Pass is $299. A Weekday Pass valid all non-holiday midweeks is $199. Super Seniors age 75 and up ski and ride for free.
