Wintergreen Ski Passes Are At Early Season Rates Until Dec. 6

Wintergreen Resort in Virginia is selling season passes in several forms at early season rates until Dec. 6.

Student Passes for ages 6-23 cost $199, and Individual Passes for all others cost $299. The passes are good for skiing and riding all season long. Prices increase Dec. 6.

Wintergreen also offers a Winter Escape Package starting at $79 per person per night in a studio room. The package includes accommodations, full lift ticket, unlkmited use of the Aquatics & Fitness Center, and mountain shuttle access.

Day-of-arrival skiing is available for 15 percent off regular lift ticket prices.

Accommodations range from the studio rooms to seven-bedroom condos and homes, but rates will not exceed $89 per person per night.

The Winter Escape Package is available daily from the start of ski season through Dec. 24, and Sundays through Thursdays Jan. 2 through March 3.

Wintergreen offers 26 slopes on 129 skiable acres. The resort offers beginner-to-expert terrain, with 23 percent beginner, 35 percent intermediate, and 42 percent expert.  Fourteen slopes are lighted for night skiing and the resort's longest run is 1.4 miles.  Two terrain parks (progressive and advanced) and the region's top snow tubing park accent the winter recreational offerings.
